Electronic Checkweighers
With their all stainless steel construction, Salter Brecknell checkweighers provide accuracy and reliability in the harshest of environments.
For ease of use, all our checkweighers feature a visible display of the checkweigh function - either with a series of ‘traffic light’ LEDs or our unique LED fan display – in addition to the weight. Setting targets is very simple, and on the top of the range 3275 can be done via a remote keypad, allowing supervisors to set up a limitless number of machines while preventing operators from tampering with the settings.

Mechanical Suspended Scales
The Salter Brecknell range of suspended scales offer almost 100 combinations with a choice of 6” and 10” dials, polycarbonate or metal case, a variety of fittings, capacities from 5kg to 300kg, metric only or kg/lb dual marked. and trade approval on some models.
All machines are made to exacting quality standards and supplied worldwide for applications including weighing crops, produce, fabrications, fire extinguishers, animals and babies. We also offer specialist machines for anglers with luminous dials for the night fisherman and dual revolution dials for higher accuracy.
Supplied complete with top and bottom hooks, or top hook and bottom pan, this range of machines is equally at home in the jungle of Africa, on the riverbank, in the factory or in the supermarket - wherever portable, lightweight weighing equipment is required.
Electronic Platform Scales
Salter Brecknell's combined platforms and indicators offer a straightforward solution for any weighing application
Supplied pre-calibrated, with simple operating instructions and no cables to run, machines can simply be unpacked and used - there is no need to wait for a service call.
A wide range of platform sizes and capacities are available, all models can be battery or mains powered.

From mild steel, bench platforms to heavy duty, stainless steel, drive-through versions, the Salter Brecknell range includes high quality, competitively-priced platform scales to suit every application. If you can't find one to meet your needs, our design team will produce a machine specifically for you!
Our A series, 6000TP, 6000SP and 6000SS platforms can all be trade stamped in the factory prior to despatch - simply select an appropriate indicator and we will do the rest. WB6200, AB6200 and UF6200 are all non-trade and supplied calibrated to a version of the SBI 710.
Electronic Weight Indicators
Salter Brecknell offers a complete range of remote weight indicators or ‘displays’, from low cost units housed in die cast aluminium cases to ATEX-approved units for use in hazardous environments.
Our indicators have an excellect standard specification and a wide range of options, such as set points. Each can be used with a wide range of platform sizes, capacities and configurations to suit the items being weighed, enabling you to build the exact system you require at a competitive 'standard' price.
All indicators except the DP90 are housed in stainless steel cases and can be wall mounted. If required, they can be supplied pre-calibrated and pre-stamped.
